Each new website displays the importance of client usability, alongside the need for visibility in relevant search channels. They also show the progression of web design; in the past such companies may have been inclined to uphold a degree of corporate anonymity, whereas today there is a definite need to reflect the human elements of business.

Two new websites developed by the Guava UK Web Development team have gone live last month.
The team, based in Berkshire, have just launched http://www.thedx.co.uk and http://www.telstra-international.co.uk, the result of two quite different projects - but each requiring a certain amount of balance and expertise in highly competitive areas of the market.
The DX Group is the UK & Ireland's leading independent next day business mail and courier company, delivering approximately 1 million items a day. Customers include the legal profession, financial services, properties services, publishers, government agencies and local authorities.
The new website is a significant part of a branding overhaul for DX, and Guava worked closely with them to produce a final product that met their specific requirements. In addition to the fresh new look, the site also includes a facility to track deliveries online, a directory feature to look up details for any one of 27,000+ businesses in the DX Network, and a wealth of easily navigable product and company information.
Telstra International is a global supplier of managed network services and a division of the leading Australian tier 1 telecommunications and information services company, Telstra Corporation Limited.
Guava were approached to design and build four new regional websites for Telstra International and recently delivered the first for their EMEA division. The new site provides visitors with a clear user experience which includes information of Telstra's extensive range of telecoms solutions, latest news and case studies, together with access for existing customers to the on-line support portal, all controlled using the powerful GuavaCMS.
UK Director, Paul Newman, commented:
