"There is history…a story behind each artifact uncovered beneath the earth," says Eve J. Alfille, artist, archeologist and gem expert of Eve J. Alfille Gallery & Studio. "It represents a way of life, beliefs and relationships." The new spring Series 'Signs of Civilization' captures the essence of ancient worlds with symmetric patterns with accents of rubies, pearls and emeralds. An assortment of textures provide variations of light and dark gold each unique in appearance.

"Signs of Civilization' allow us to celebrate the ingenuity of a time gone by combined with the advancements of modern civilization," continued Ms. Alfille. "The results are one-of-a-kind, works-of-art, created to reflect my experiences in the field. When worn, new stories are created and passed down to friends and loved ones for the past to be remembered."

The new Series will be released and celebrated on April 25, 2009. To join the celebration, call to reserve your space at 847-869-7920. To learn more about Eve J. Alfille and her inspiration, go to for an in-depth interview.
