Terry's Fabrics are looking to continue their rapid online growth by expanding their product range. The company, with two large brick and motar stores in Staffordshire and Stockport, is looking to aggressively build upon the performance of their successful website by adding additional ranges, diversifying slightly on their traditional business.
Homewares has now been added to the site, featuring alongside their more traditional products such as curtain poles, curtains and blinds. This expansion builds upon the rapid expansion of the lighting section of the site, which now contains over 150 unique lighting products. The company has entered competitive market places in the past, successfully retailing in rugs, bedding and cushions, and this success is likely to continue with the new Homewares and table lamp range.
The expansion of product ranges and general diversification of the site is set to compliment the heavy investment being spent marketing the site in time for the summer months, a time which is traditionally low season.
The expansion is set to continue throughout the year, in time for peak season during the winter months. Terry's are also building their brand presence online, primarily through the addition of their blog which is focused on interior design products and exciting designs from around the world. The blog, which is updated on a daily basis is written by interior designers, and is slowly becoming an online authority.
