There are two highly relevant factors in today's market that will propel Portrait Software through 2009 and beyond
(PRWEB) April 4, 2009
Portrait Software, a leading provider of insight driven customer interaction software, today announces the appointment of Luke McKeever as CEO, effective immediately. He takes over from retiring CEO Nick Randall and will be based at the company's UK HQ in Henley-on-Thames.
McKeever joined from Capital ID, a European leader in marketing operations software, where he was CEO focused on international expansion and partner development. He previously spent seven years with marketing platform vendor Alterian, latterly as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development. Whilst at Alterian, McKeever was instrumental in the launch and expansion of Alterian in the US and also managed the acquisitions of a number of specialist marketing technology companies and assets. He has also held management roles at Claritas and Experian both in the UK and internationally.
"There are two highly relevant factors in today's market that will propel Portrait Software through 2009 and beyond," comments McKeever. "Firstly, Portrait Software's momentum in the market place allied with our committed, blue chip customer base and growing industry analyst recognition. Secondly, in the prevailing economic climate, where marketing budgets are being squeezed, Portrait's products are ideally positioned to meet the challenges of today's marketers; how to keep existing customers, enhance customer profitability, mitigate risk and deliver outstanding customer experiences".
McKeever is open about his future plans. "The feedback I have received from our customers and partners is that Portrait Software is somewhat of a 'well-kept secret'," he says. "This year we aim to start letting a few more people in on the secret! The value we provide to best-in-class clients such as Lloyds Banking Group, Merrill Lynch, Nationwide Building Society and T-Mobile, and the development of our core strategic alliances with companies such as Fiserv have strong relevance to other large-scale B2C marketing operations looking to steal a march on their competitors. In addition, I see many opportunities for Portrait Software to continue to expand its offering and help our customers make every interaction with their customers count."
"As a marketing software specialist, Luke has an impressive track record in growing and developing businesses in Europe and the United States," comments Nick Randall. "Portrait has made a number of acquisitions over the last few years and a key focus for Luke will be to bring this broad set of capabilities together into a unified, consistent and compelling offering. I'm looking forward to seeing Portrait excel further in this very dynamic market place."
"Portrait Software has some unique attributes which made this position impossible to resist. Above all, we have an intelligent, dedicated and highly experienced team with a strong commitment to deliver the best for each and every customer. This is exemplified by our long standing, loyal customer base which continues to reap the benefits of our innovative and dynamic technology platform that drives value straight to the bottom line" adds McKeever.
