4medica, a leading provider of clinical workflow and integration technology for the healthcare sector, today announced two executive appointments to stimulate and manage growth of its IHR applications. Regina Macdonald has been appointed Vice President of Sales, and Megan Tobin-Jones has been appointed Director of Marketing.
"4medica has experienced tremendous growth in the last several years, thanks to its intuitive web-based solutions, its strong experience in the laboratory market and its ability to bridge the gaps between what a health record can be currently and what it must be to best meet the needs of physicians, organizations and patients," said Ravi Sharma, President and CEO, 4medica.
"During this pivotal growth phase, it is critical that we build the structure, key personnel and processes to effectively manage our growth. Expanding our sales and marketing efforts to promote our ground-breaking solutions for improving the delivery of health information at the point of decision is a central goal for 4medica. The addition of Regina and Megan to the 4medica Management team will ensure that 4medica can deliver on its mission of changing the health information market, and therefore the delivery of healthcare itself."
Regina Macdonald, Vice President of Sales, has more than 20 years of proven success as a senior sales and marketing executive, with particular expertise in managed care, clinical laboratory and information technology. She joins 4medica from LabReach Consulting, where she served as owner and President. She has held senior sales management positions at Chi Solutions, Massachusetts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Pegasystems and Quest Diagnostics. Macdonald will focus on meeting both current and expanded sales growth as well as improving customer communications in coordination with 4medica's new Director of Marketing.
"I have been impressed with 4medica's industry leading position in the laboratory outreach market, as well as its dedication to innovation and ongoing collaboration with physicians and clinicians to identify and meet the need of the health information marketplace. It is my belief that the integrated health record is the future of healthcare, and am pleased that my efforts will help ensure its success," Macdonald states.
Megan Tobin-Jones, Director of Marketing, has extensive experience in start-up operations and a strong history of executing innovative marketing programs in technology organizations, most recently with Orion Health, a leader in health information integration. With 4medica's tremendous growth forecast, Tobin-Jones will aid in promoting the IHR concept, as well as 4medica's applications which deliver the integrated record.
"The realization of the Integrated Health Record and 4medica's delivery of that solution is a truly disruptive innovation. This presents the ultimate marketing opportunity and challenge, one which I am eager to undertake."
"By building on 4medica's strong presence in the market, and working to enhance its communications, with both prospective and existing customers, we can build a strong brand based on our shared vision and values."
