Las Vegas is pulling out all the stops to welcome Miss USA 2008 back to the city for it's second consecutive year at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. One of the many events leading up to the big pageant night is the Reality Cares' AmeriFace Benefit presented by Gaudy PR and 944 Magazine, a red carpet charity event aiming to raise awareness for AmeriFace, an organization that helps people with facial differences such as cleft lips & palates (http://www.ameriface.org). The AmeriFace Organization will also be launching it's "Face Of Change Campaign", a program where doctors from across the United States will commit to providing pro-bono reconstructive surgeries for patients in need.
The star studded party will be held at The Living Room in The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and will be attended by a who's who of Las Vegas, with a red carpet from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a reception from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009, with an official after-party following at Prive Nightclub. Guests can look forward to a special appearance by longtime AmeriFace supporter Crystle Stewart - Miss USA 2008 and a star studded red carpet including guests like Chuy Bravo of E!'s "Chelsea Lately", Carmit Bachar one of the original Pussycat Dolls, Planet Hollywood's PEEPSHOW Girls, Celebrity Stylist Michael Boychuck, Frank Marino, Brent Barret, the Chippendales and more.
Alicia Jacobs, KVBC Channel 3 Entertainment Reporter will be hosting the event, which will also include live performances by Las Vegas favorites, Zowie Bowie and one of Madonna's main men, dance-wise that is, Mihran, in one of his first performances promoting his new record.
