eBizITPA Signs Contract with GeoLearning: Will Implement Online Learning Management System

The Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA) has announced they have reached a contractual agreement with GeoLearning and will be implementing an Online Learning Management system that will enhance the delivery of educational offerings and make them more easily accessible to businesses and organizations via the online channel. eBizITPA plans for the system to be fully implemented by June 2009. Once implemented, the GeoLearning system will house all of the Center's online education materials.

The Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA) has announced they have reached a contractual agreement with GeoLearning and will be implementing an Online Learning Management system that will enhance the delivery of educational offerings and make them more easily accessible to businesses and organizations via the online channel.

GeoLearning is the leader in Managed Learning Services and on-demand performance and learning platforms. GeoLearning's products and services "leverage the power of the Internet to accelerate the critical business processes within [an] organization" and are used to "centrally manage human capital and knowledge acquisition."

Specifically, GeoLearning's Learning Management System will allow eBizITPA to streamline its online course development and distribution process. eBizITPA will have the capability to more easily create and share training from industry experts via the Internet. The implementation of the system will allow easier and more efficient access to online training opportunities.

"This system will undoubtedly improve not only our efficiency in providing online training opportunities to the public, but also the usability and consumer satisfaction," said Carrie Teetzel, Director of Education Programs at eBizITPA. "We hope that GeoLearning will allow us to provide the content that professionals want in the fastest and most accessible manner."

eBizITPA plans for the system to be fully implemented by June 2009. Once implemented, the GeoLearning system will house all of the Center's online education materials including Webinars, podcasts, tutorials and online, self-paced courses.
