Arizona State Credit Union announced today that it has launched HelpingAZ.com, the first-ever social media website designed to assist Arizona state employees, university employees and others who have been impacted by the economy, layoffs and furloughs.
HelpingAZ.com will serve as a forum allowing open dialogue in an effort to foster community building. People will be able to share leads for current job openings and opportunities, as well as find links to beneficial resources based on visitor postings. Other tools will include up-to-date state budget information, unemployment benefit information, money saving tips and financial assistance, all developed by active online community participants.
