Holy Fire Publishing (http://www.christianpublish.com ) releases Stop! Look! Listen! God Wants a Change (Paperback, US$16.99, ISBN# 978-1-60383-172-7). Pearl Robinson's book of poetry depicts God's heart for repentance and obedience.
Pearl Robinson's book of poetry, Stop! Look! Listen! God Wants a Change, addresses moral issues Christians face today. Robinson's rich prose presents God's longing to change lives through self-examination, repentance, and for growth in knowledge of God through studying His Word. Her poetry challenges readers by asking, is God pleased with your life," and reminds them that while "God is good, merciful, and longsuffering, [those who] refuse to obey His Word will feel His wrath. God wants His children to change, turn their face away from sin, and accept His Salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is a life changing book."
Pearl Robinson's collection of poetry addresses Christian obedience to God's commands concerning marriage, divorce, adultery, fornication, abortion, and many other moral issues confronting today's Christian. "We're living in a time where we're being de-sensitized to sin. The mainstream media's glamorization of sin is repugnant to God and to His children. While Biblical morals are suppressed in the marketplace of ideas, Christians are imprisoned for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ." Robinson's poetry draws readers in to hear God's heart on sin and offers a snapshot of His undying love for all humanity.
"Come as you are--we do not have the power to change ourselves; we must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. Once the Holy Spirit touches our hearts and removes the blinders from our eyes, and we can see sin in our lives, then it is up to us to respond by accepting God's life-changing call to Salvation through Jesus. We must then ask Him to forgive our sins, repent, and be baptized."--Pearl Robinson
"Jesus is the one who went to the cross for you without shame / If you are going to live for Him, know that He expects the same. / When He was given His cross and was told to take it up Calvary's hill / He didn't look back; He went all the way, that was His father's will. / He had a divine purpose for Christ, His only begotten Son / He came to this earth, obeyed Him and His will was done / He was nailed to an old rugged cross and died all alone / His father raised Him from the dead, now He sits on the throne. / When Christ left you, He didn't leave you hopeless and lost. / He left the Holy Spirit to guide you; He's already paid the cost. / Today if you confess Christ to be your Savior, you represent Him. / "If You Represent Jesus, Represent Right." -- Pearl Robinson
