Headland Multimedia, a leading UK web solutions provider built, launched and promoted the new website of Alton Towers Resort.

Alton Towers Resort is a huge visitor attraction, Britain's favourite with something for everyone. Our challenge was to supply the optimum amount of fantastical family content and a transparent visitor journey that delivers theme park ticket sales and hotel bookings. We selected Ektron as the CMS for its flexibility, value and support.

March 28th saw both the theme park opening date at Alton Towers Resort and the launch of the resorts online brand refresh for 2009. The new Headland designed and built content managed website increases the emphasis on theme park and resort hotel bookings online. The site sits in the Ektron CMS400.net content management system.

The campaign surrounding Alton Towers Resort's parks opening date include Britain's favourite short break destination. The campaign features TV brand and attraction led creatives and the online channel is supported with Headland designed and broadcast email marketing and banner advertising.
