Digital research specialist, eDigitalResearch, is bucking the economic trend by growing annual sales, strengthening its team and opening a new London office to manage the increase in demand for its services.
eDigitalResearch's new London office will be managed by Head of Business Development, Dominic Bean and is well-placed for the organisation's future strategy. "It has never been more important to understand and respond to customers," comments Michelle Fuller, Director at eDigitalResearch. "More organisations are recognising the benefits that digital research has when needing to gain insight and create strategy that gets them closer to their customers. We are definitely noticing that some organisations are cutting back on their research budgets, but more and more understand that digital research is cost-effective and works. We are launching several new products over the coming year to ensure that, despite the recession, we are continuing to innovate and provide the best tools for our clients."
eDigitalResearch has also appointed 28 year-old Ben Benson as Senior Web Application Developer. He is already planning to bring some fresh innovations and ideas to an already very innovative company: "I'm keen to operate with a holistic perspective of the company, rather than focusing on just the specific technical task at hand. I am looking forward to learning much more about the industry so I can offer new initiatives and ideas that will benefit eDigitalResearch and its clients as a whole." In his spare time, Ben enjoys travelling and playing the drums as part of his band, Looking Through Glass.
"Ben's appointment demonstrates the quality of staff we employ and subsequent skill base we share with our clients," adds fellow Director, Chris Russell. "We are growing and expanding, not just financially but with new staff. This illustrates the continued and strengthening position we are in at the moment. In addition, we believe that we have a strategy in place to ensure we stay this way."
In fact, eDigitalResearch has done so well over the past year it has even lifted the football World Cup! Despite its success the Southampton-based company has not branched out into managing the England football team but instead Head of Research, Derek Eccleston was invited to see the famous cup after earning the opportunity at a recent charity event. He took some of eDigitalResearch's clients including representatives from Market Evolution, New Look and AOL.
