St. Louis (PRWEB) April 9, 2009 -- The Association of Test Publishers (ATP) has named Reid Klion, Ph.D. to its 2009 Board of Directors where he will serve a two-year term of office. Dr. Klion is Chief Science Officer for the TALX assessment division, pan.
Dr. Klion will preside over ATP along with the organization’s nine other directors. ATP was established in 1992 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. It is a leading non-profit organization representing providers of tests and assessment tools and/or services related to assessment, selection, screening, certification, licensing, and educational or clinical uses. It is dedicated to the highest level of professionalism and business ethics within the test publishing community.

Dr. Reid Klion has been involved with employment assessments since 1990. Dr. Klion provides psychometric and science-based oversight in the development of web-based personnel assessment systems and is involved in consultation on assessment system design, psychometric issues, test content and test implementation. He is actively involved in industry, scientific and regulatory affairs; presents regularly at professional meetings and conferences; and has an active leadership role in several industry organizations. Dr. Klion is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He was Co-Chair of the 2007 IPMAAC Annual Conference and is past Chair of ATP’s Industrial-Organization Division.
