The Media Matters, Inc., announces a new "Media Menu" of low-cost services created to support retailers, service providers, and manufacturers in this challenging economy. "A slower economy means working smarter to get ahead and stay ahead. Wall, president and founder of The Media Matters.

Oftentimes, companies don't realize they have media-worthy news that will get them valuable editorial exposure with their existing and potential customers. Staying visible to those you want to buy your product or service is critical to success. Wall said, "We created our new 'Media Menu' specifically to assist smaller companies and those with limited budgets, who otherwise may not be in a position to utilize our services. We feel this is our way of helping stimulate the economy by helping companies build public awareness, which is the first step in generating business."

A key component of the "Media Menu" is a "Quick Turn" (QT) press release which offers an affordable public relations tool for companies with limited budgets or those who no longer have in-house marketing capabilities. The Media Matters, with three decades of building media relationships in the home industries, has invested in a new web-based software system to reach beyond home furnishings to more than 500,000 contacts in over 150,000 media outlets. These include print, TV and web media related to healthcare, apparel, real estate, packaged goods, technology, finance, business services, contract, and children's products. "We can now thoroughly and efficiently also reach regional media in rural and suburban areas, allowing us to offer QT releases for small businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada. A turnkey QT Basic business release starts at $250 which includes a brief phone consultation; writing, with one round of edits, a review and final approval; and distribution of the release along with provided photography to appropriate news outlets. QT offers three levels of releases, starting with QT Basic, ideal for announcing new hires, staff promotions or reorganization, and new locations or services.

Another budget-friendly service is editing and proofreading of collateral or websites. For companies who want to save money by writing their copy in-house, The Media Matters will review, edit, and proofread on an hourly fee basis. This service is especially helpful for materials that need to communicate in consumer-friendly language, as many companies tend to speak in lingo unfamiliar to others outside their industry. Simple logo design and visually creative e-blast design and deployment rounds out the "image building" marketing tools offered through "Media Menu."
