GamesOfEden.com: Not Just Role Playin' Around
Unlike big box retailers, GamesOfEden.com has their sights set on the serious gamer. With a selection of everything from World of Warcraft to the latest Mario adventure, the website recently added a gaming blog to its repertoire.
Norwich, CT (PRWEB) April 10, 2009 -- Today's gamer is inundated with a myriad of options whether they're role playing games, video games or computer games, the selection for expanding one's imagination and the opportunity to sharpen their senses is magnified tenfold in the current gaming market. With so many choices out there, it's easy to get bogged down by hype and the ability to find a game of substance because it is a daunting task in itself.
Entrepreneur Brian Patterson knows that it can be difficult to find a game worth playing these days.
"I'm a gamer," he said. "I like having the ability to explore the variety of games, but I also know what I like and it can get tiring searching on other gaming sites."
Instead of simply complaining, Patterson did something. He launched www.GamesOfEden.com in June 2008. The website specializes in games of all sorts, from multiplayer online role playing games like World of Warcraft (WOW) to contemporary systems like the PS3 or the Nintendo Wii, there's literary something on this site for every gamer. This wide selection was spawned from Patterson's love of the gaming.
"I started playing Dungeons and Dragons when it first came out in the 1970s," he said. "It's my interest, my hobby and there's an undeniable rush from playing games."
With having a well-rounded gaming website, Patterson keeps his store and selection up-to-date ("I'm constantly adding to it," he said).
In addition to his web store, Patterson recently started a new informational game blog, www.GamesOfEdenInfo.com, to correlate with his site.
"WOW, for example, has 11 million people who play it," Patterson said. "This is a good way to communicate with other players and maybe see what people in other guilds are doing.
"I'm also going to have reviews of other games that are being release," he continued.
Unlike other gaming sites, Patterson's Games of Eden is something that is for the purist at heart and although Patterson himself engages in several types of gaming, his love of role playing games (RPG) won't go south anytime soon.
"I like them all, the different sorts of games, but RPGs are my style," he said. "I've spent years learning and cultivating this knowledge and becoming a solid gamer. My site reflects this because it's for serious and experienced gamers."
