The company is launching a new series of in-person classes and boot camps designed to help talent break into the modeling and acting worlds, network with industry professionals and book jobs.

The company is launching a new series of in-person classes and boot camps designed to help talent break into the modeling and acting worlds, network with industry professionals and book jobs.

The company's first live event is an all-day, industry-packed "Commercial Modeling and Acting Boot Camp" on Saturday, April 25th.

"NewFaces.com has been online since 1995 and this will be our first live event, I'm excited about branching out and offering more value to our members," says New Faces® founder and model, Hilary Rowland. "We are exclusively an online talent site - we do NOT have a storefront or do scouting in malls or have in-person interviews or have a photo studio, we have been, and continue to be, an online portfolio and talent community site."

The Commercial Modeling and Acting Boot Camp will feature industry tips from numerous guest speakers, including the owner of the casting agency that books actors for Gossip Girl and other top TV shows, top acting and modeling career coach Aaron Marcus, a successful petite supermodel and author, a top fashion photographer, leading model and talent agents, and the founder of the Actors Technique.

The event will emphasize that you don't have to be young, tall, thin and beautiful to be a successful model. Participants will learn how to get their careers started, and how get work as actors and commercial models in their market. The event is open to the public; pre-registration is required. All Boot Camp attendees will receive gift bags totaling $300 in fashion, beauty and technology products.

Following the seminar, there will be an exclusive networking reception at Nikki Beach with industry professionals, including top casting directors, model and talent agents, photographers, and New Faces founder Hilary Rowland. "This boot camp is a great chance for models and actors to get insider tips from seasoned industry pros," says Hilary.
