Valerie Robinson Baker Releases New Book on Camping Through the Eyes of a Child

For a child, there is nothing quite like a family camping trip. It's summer, to start with, and that means there's no more teachers and no more school. The sun is shining, the beach and the BBQ are beckoning, and it's time to hit the open road for the annual family camping vacation.

This lovingly crafted book captures perfectly the sense of a family camping trip as seen through the eyes of a child. Robinson Baker wrote the text and illustrated the story and her eye for detail shines clearly, as does her ability to find family-based humour in everyday life and everyday happenings. Valerie's son Chris served as colourist and design consultant on the Camping Is Fun project.
