Oceanview Publishing Announces the forthcoming release of Collision of Evil by John J. Le Beau

Oceanview Publishing announces the forthcoming release of Collision of Evil by John J. Le Beau. Collision of Evil will be available nationwide on September 21, 2009.

Ipswich, MA (PRWEB) April 15, 2009 -- Oceanview Publishing announces the forthcoming release of Collision of Evil by John J. Le Beau. Collision of Evil will be available nationwide on September 21, 2009.

Le Beau, who served as a clandestine operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency for over 25 years, delivers a harrowing international thriller in Collision of Evil.

Collision of Evil (Oceanview, ISBN: 978‐1‐933515‐54‐0, Hardcover, International Thriller, $25.95) opens as evening falls against the majestic backdrop of the Bavarian Alps. Shattering the peace, quiet, and pastoral splendor of this magnificent setting, Charles Hirter, an American tourist, is savagely murdered. Was Charles simply in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Kommissar Franz Waldbaer, the German detective in charge of the case, faces an investigation that yields neither clues nor suspects nor motives. A gruff, go-it-alone detective, Waldbaer is dismayed by the arrival of Robert Hirter, the victim's brother, who insists on joining the investigation. But there is more to Robert than meets the eye.

As Robert and the Kommissar uncover a nefarious nexus of evil past and evil present, they find themselves probing dark, long-forgotten episodes from the Third Reich in order to identify the present threat.

Thrust into a violent world of fanatic passions, malevolent intentions, and excruciating urgency, Robert Hirter and Kommissar Waldbaer must race against the clock to stop a sophisticated, covert, and deadly plot--before past and present collide in the most terrifying way imaginable.

Susan Greger, Publisher at Oceanview, commented, "We are delighted to announce the forthcoming release of Collision of Evil by John Le Beau. A frightening tale about the intersection of evil past and present, Collision of Evil is destined to leave readers on the edge of their seats."

Following a tour as a U.S. Army officer, Dr. Le Beau served as a clandestine operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency for over 25 years. Most of Le Beau's intelligence career took place overseas, including in countries experiencing active terrorism and insurgency. Since January 2006, Dr. Le Beau has worked as a Professor of National Security Studies in the College of International Security Studies at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch, Germany.

Collision of Evil will be available where better books are sold on September 21, 2009. Oceanview Publishing (www.oceanviewpub.com) is an independent publisher headquartered in Massachusetts.
