What: PayCycle extends its standalone 1099-MISC E-File Service for small business owners through April 25, 2009.

Why: To assist late filers who missed the March 31 IRS deadline but still need to electronically file 1099-MISC forms.

Who: Small business owners who need to file 1099-MISC forms for 2008 independent contractor payments. 1099-MISC forms must be filed with the IRS if you paid an independent contractor $600 or more in 2008. How: Go to http://www.paycycle.com. Sign up for the 1099-MISC E-File Service by April 25 and electronically file through April 30, 2009. The cost is $39 for up to 50 forms.
