MontanaSky™ Networks announces the acquisition of CrestonTech, a web design firm specializing in high-quality, database driven websites and custom remote HIPAA compliant back-up services to small businesses.
Fred Weber, founder and CEO of MontanaSky said, "Over the years we have developed or acquired technologies and services that compliment our core business, and adding the web design component and the exclusive uberVault2.0 back-up service substantially enhances our product offerings."
MontanaSky spent the past fifteen years building a fully-redundant state-of-the-art fiber optic network to serve their customers in northwest Montana. In addition to their primary product, high-speed Internet access, their offerings have expanded to include web hosting, custom programming and exclusive products such as 'Multiline Bonded DSL and T1', which permits up to 8 T1's or DSL lines to be bonded as one providing the speed of all lines added together.
Most of MontanaSky's customers are small businesses that do not have an internal IT staff and must rely upon outside service providers for web design and maintenance, and other IT and server technology matters. "The uberVault2.0 back-up service solves a problem that every business faces and we are very pleased to have this as another quality MontanaSky business solution," said Joe Sullivan, MontanaSky's President.
Arnold Bjork, who founded CrestonTech in 2006, will remain with MontanaSky as VP of the web development and hosting team. Mr. Bjork's research showed that 25% of all PC users suffer from data loss each year and 96% of all business workstations are not being backed up. Such statistics were the driving force behind development of the uberVault2.0 back-up system.
