New York, New York (PRWEB) April 21, 2009
Metropolitan College of New York has won five marketing awards this year including the Gold Award for Radio Advertising in the Admissions Advertising Awards.
Over 2000 entries were submitted to the 24th Annual Admissions Advertising Awards, sponsored by Admissions Marketing Report. Creative Partners of Stamford, Connecticut created the college's marketing campaign.
In addition to winning the gold in the Radio Advertising, MCNY also won the bronze for Total Advertising Campaign, and merit awards for both Newspaper Advertising and Outdoor Transit/Billboard.
MCNY also won the Best Education Rich Media Online Campaign "You Can Do This!" from the Internet Advertising Competition (IAC).
The college is among over 2000 entries that were recognized in the Internet Advertising Competition, produced by The Web Marketing Association.
Steven Lenhart, Dean of Enrollment Services states "With the increasing competition with other local colleges and increasing numbers of on line institutions reaching for our adult students, it was so important for us to stick out from the crowd and further increase brand awareness. This campaign has done exactly that -- applications are up and that is a good thing!"
Judging on the Admissions Advertising Awards consisted of marketing, advertising and admissions marketing professions, and the editorial board of the Admissions Marketing Report.
Judges from the IAC award competition consisted of expert judges in a wide array of industries such as internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals who share an interest for improving the quality of advertising, marketing and promotion used to attract visitors to corporate Web sites.
