Sagitec Solutions, LLC celebrates its fifth anniversary on April 1st. The team behind this global technology solutions provider has cause to celebrate. Sagitec has rapidly established an impressive track record of successful system implementations, and is currently engaged in several major public pension projects across the country. The challenging economic environment hasn't stopped the company from steadily increasing market share. The group of focused IT specialists has quickly become an acknowledged leader in the public pension industry. Senior Partner Rick Deshler describes Sagitec's recipe for success:

"Our strategy has been the same since day one," said Mr. Deshler. "It starts with our employees - who share the common characteristics of being passionate, persistent, and prepared. It continues with technical solutions that are elegantly simple, making them easy to implement and maintain. It ends with leadership committed to satisfying our clients and delivering solutions that scale to their requirements and budgets. These key elements are the cornerstones of our success."

Sagitec won their first client in 2004 with Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS). Sagitec replaced the organization's aging benefits administration system with its own newly developed Neospin™ framework. According to John Oliver, KPERS CIO, the implementation was an unqualified success, and KPERS continues to use Sagitec for system maintenance and enhancements. Mr. Oliver describes the organization's continuing relationship with Sagitec:

"Sagitec continues to provide KPERS with first class service, even as they grow and expand," notes Mr. Oliver. "Their project teams maintain a visible presence at our organization, and respond with thoroughness and speed when the system requires maintenance or enhancement."

In addition to KPERS, Sagitec provided systems implementation services for the following pension funds:

  •     Wisconsin Employees Trust Fund
  •     Fire and Police Pension Fund of Colorado
  •     California Public Employees Retirement System
  •     North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System
  •     Kansas City Public Schools Retirement System
  •     Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System
  •     Denver Employees Retirement Plan
  •     Virginia Retirement System

"Being selected by so many pension funds in our first five years in business is unprecedented in this industry," said Rod Sheppard, Senior Partner. "We attribute this to the quality of our solution, which can satisfy the requirements of relatively small funds like KCPSRS (Kansas City Public Schools Retirement System) to very large funds like VRS (Virginia Retirement System)."

Sagitec is no longer a newcomer to the public pension industry, but the team is determined to remain on its cutting edge.

"Sagitec is uniquely positioned for the future," says Deepak Ahuja, Senior Partner, "Because we are fully committed to reinvesting revenue back into our technology and workforce. Our pension administration solutions will continue to set the standards in this industry."

Sagitec Solutions, LLC is headquartered in Denver, CO. They have additional domestic offices in the Twin Cities (MN) and Topeka (KS), and international offices in Pune and Chennai, India. Further information can be found at http://www.sagitec.com or by contacting Rick Deshler at (651) 335-3406.
