New Leaf Touchstone provides unique tools and resources to help people change their behavior and adopt new more effective habits. The products are made by at-Risk adolescent teen girls who attend a therapeutic school in Arlington, MA.

Professional Coach Cindy Loughran, founder and president of New Leaf Touchstone ( announces today the availability of several new products and services designed to help individuals successfully change their behavior, act on their intentions, and create new, positive habits.

Added to her ongoing one-on-one and group coaching, Loughran has introduced unique change-reinforcing bead bracelets and pocket stones, made by at risk adolescent girls who are students at Germaine Lawrence, Inc. a therapeutic school in Arlington, MA.

"Many of us have the desire to grow and to change but as creatures of habit and slaves to our emotions, we often revert back to our old familiar and comfortable ways, despite our dissatisfaction with the results," says Loughran. "Evidence suggests that the use of a visual cue is extremely effective in reminding people to use their new skills and behaviors until they become habits, rather than using their 'default' behaviors." This concept led to the development of the New Leaf Touchstone Bracelet.

The young women who make the products are working to overcome a variety of psychological, behavioral and emotional issues of their own. Working for New Leaf Touchstone, they earn money while learning social and business skills and building their self esteem. "They glow with the knowledge that their work is making a positive contribution to the ultimate user," says Loughran. "Their positive energy is definitely part of the product."

Wearers report that the bracelets help them feel more centered, focused, and confident, and assist them in eliminating a variety of undesirable behaviors - such as interrupting others, screaming at the kids, and smoking. Some report the bracelet reminds them to breathe deeply and relax when feeling stressed.

Men interested in growth and change began asking for similar support, explained Ms. Loughran, which led to the introduction of New Leaf Touchstone Pocket stones, smooth clay 'stones' that fit in the palm of your hand or in your pocket. One user recently reported that with a New Leaf Touchstone Pocket stone in his hand, he has replaced his characteristically aggressive behavior in meetings with a much calmer demeanor. One of his colleagues said, "The change in Ted was amazing. As soon as our first meeting was over, we all ordered stones for ourselves. They are now mandatory 'equipment' at all of our meetings."
Each bracelet and stone comes packaged with an insert that explains how to "charge" the product to personalize it and give it its power for the user.

New Leaf Touchstone mission is to create a circle of success in which the user, the producer, and everyone whose lives they touch can turn over a new leaf.
