San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 15, 2009
Digitaria (http://www.digitaria.com), a leading digital marketing and technology firm, today announced the opening of a New York office to support strong customer growth on the East Coast. The Manhattan office is located in West Village at 345 Hudson Street.
To lead the new operation, Digitaria announced the appointment of Anthony Yi to Vice President, Eastern Region. Yi is a former Bertelsmann executive with more than 15 years of Internet and new media experience. He and his team will help new and existing clients drive more successful digital marketing and branding strategies. Existing East Coast clients include Hasbro, NBC, CBS, Comcast, MTV, Bravo, BeliefNet.com, Baltimore Ravens, International Speedway Corp., and more.
"Digitaria is among the few agencies nationwide to successfully integrate digital media and traditional advertising services," Yi said. "Digitaria also has a very strong track record when it comes to helping clients leverage innovative technologies to decrease costs and increase revenue and efficiencies."
These technologies include both internal and partner solutions which cover social media, content management systems, online video platforms and digital asset management. Yi also cited Digitaria's work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an example of the company's innovative approach.
Previously, Yi was senior vice president of business development and worldwide sales at Narrowstep, an online video platform. Prior to that, he held various senior management roles at software and services companies including a key Bertelsmann AG division, Arvato Systems.
The opening of Digitaria's newest office nationwide comes amidst record growth for the company. Over the last three years, Digitaria has recorded a 500 percent increase in revenue growth, and a 250 percent increase in the number of employees. Last month, Digitaria announced the appointment of Sunil Bhagwan, a web marketing veteran, to lead its growing search engine marketing practice.
"I'm proud of our team for pushing the boundaries of digital marketing innovation and design over the last three years," Digitaria CEO Dan Khabie said. "Our clients are facing new challenges these days and we have to work harder than ever to help them continue to improve their online business. I know Tony and Sunil will be a tremendous help in that regard."
