SageQuest announces the release of a new version of the integration between its web-based GPS fleet tracking and management software Mobile Control, and dESCO’s field service management software, ESC v9. As well-established partners, SageQuest and dESCO have taken the information which is critical to each of their customers and combined it to create a new and more powerful solution.

The new integration creates an accurate and comprehensive view of driver and vehicle activity by matching the real-time GPS location from SageQuest's Mobile Control, with work order details from ESC. This improves accuracy and efficiency in dispatching and work order assignment, and also minimizes disruptions to the technician.

The Mobile Control and ESC integration is already in use by many fleets in the field service industry on a software platform. This new version of the integration now features SageQuest’s award winning web-based interface along with several new capabilities.

According to Jeanne Sparks of All Weather Heating & Cooling, the new system is invaluable because of its ability to customize icons, produce new reports and provide accurate viewing of work order information on the map. Sparks has found significant value in the latest web-based release of the integration. “The ability to view dispatch information side by side with technician vehicle activity makes all the difference in how we are able to utilize our field service team,” Sparks concludes.

The integration also reports variances between vehicle location and work order updates from the field technician, which increases visibility into technician behavior and also improves customer satisfaction. The new analytics tools allow customers to see trends and compare technicians on key performance indicators.
