Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) April 14, 2009
The Arizona law firm of Phillips & Associates is actively accepting inquiries from any of the hundreds of people who have been injured as a result of driving or riding in any of the three Yamaha Rhino ATV models that have been recalled per an announcement made by the manufacturer on March 31, 2009.
Specifically, the Yamaha Rhino ATV models recalled are the Yamaha Rhino 450, Yamaha Rhino 660 and the Yamaha Rhino 700.
Yamaha has ceased with new sales of these models until they can be repaired, and the company has asked all owners of these models to stop driving them until they can have the necessary repairs done at their local dealership.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), there have been reports of 46 deaths and hundreds of injuries while riding the models in question since 2003. The CSPC stated that more than two-thirds of these accidents were rollovers, and "many" occurred while driving the ATV's at a low rate of speed and while turning on level ground.
The repairs being done include work designed to minimize the risk of rollovers and to keep drivers' and passengers' limbs inside the vehicle, thereby increasing the overall safety of the vehicles in question.
Phillips & Associates is a trial law firm in Phoenix, that represents those injured in Arizona ATV accidents and Arizona Yamaha rollover accidents. The firm has dedicated a team of attorneys to this specific issue and is actively performing intakes to alert those injured as to their legal rights.
