Josh Hartnett had barely left the hospital in L.A. before he was found among hot women and expensive champagne bottles in the nightlife of Miami Beach. A new social network for nightlife immortalized his night.
Josh Hartnett and other celebrities like Kristen Cavallari or Steve Aoki are not camera shy when it comes to the new social network http://www.usbynight.com (U.S. By Night). Usbynight.com is located in Miami, and local photographers take pictures for the website at parties and clubs in South Beach and Downtown Miami. The website has many of the same features as Facebook, but mainly focuses on nightlife and young clubbers. The company has announced partnerships with the most prestigious nightclubs in the area and their 20 photographers are taking thousands of pictures every week of models, club kids, big spenders and celebrities partying at Miami's hottest spots. Last week it was, among others, Josh Hartnett, who kindly posed to usbynight.com's camera both Thursday and Saturday at Tommy Lee's nightclub Rok Bar at Collins Avenue.
"Our photographers were very surprised to see an A-list celebrity like actor Josh Hartnett being friendly and posing to the camera, despite the recent headlines. People are usually very approachable and interested in getting pictures taken, but we had not expected that the celebrities would be this open-minded", says the company's CEO Henrik Akselbo, who has received extensive positive feedback on the new website and concept so far.
Usbynight.com is a free service, where the users quickly and easily can access the nightlife photos the company's photographers take and tag themselves and their friends and communicate with other members. Furthermore one can find a complete overview of the upcoming events in Miami.
