Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 21, 2009
TRA (http://www.industrysafe.com) is pleased to announce the release of Version 3.09 of its IndustrySafe Safety Management product. IndustrySafe Safety Management Software provides organizations with web-based safety data management tools including incident tracking, OSHA recordkeeping, and OSHA logs, inspections, training tracking, hazards, behavioral based safety, claims, corrective actions and more.
Release 3.09 includes enhancements and modifications to almost all of the modules of IndustrySafe Safety Software including new key safety performance dashboards, updates to the training tracking module, new safety inspections reports, enhanced Days Away Restricted/Transfer Rate (DART) and Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR) reporting and enhanced observations and claims features.
3.09 IndustrySafe features includes several new incident dashboards, such as Incidents by Category, Incidents by Type, Employee Injury Pyramid, Days without Incidents, Incidents by Cause 1, Incidents by Cause 2, Incidents by Cause 3, and Incidents by Cause 4. IndustrySafe Safety Software 3.09 release also includes the ability to enter a custom date range for all dashboards. "Our safety dashboard allows organizations to view leading indicators as well as lagging indicators providing organizations with the information they require to focus resources on areas in need " explains, Clare Epstein, Vice President of Information Technology for TRA.
Updating training records and training requirements is easier with the enhancements of Release 3.09. Users can view an updated training summary page that will display all upcoming scheduled classes and quickly view and schedule classes requiring scheduling with a "Quick Schedule" function. For a class with just one attendee, users can now quickly add them to a class. Also IndustrySafe Safety Software will automatically build a Required Training Profile for each employee in the IndustrySafe software. This Required Training Profile allows users to view at a glance the training requirements each employee might be missing. "The goals of the training modifications were to simplify the data entry required for training tracking and to improve the employer's ability to achieve training compliance across their organization," states Gabriel Tompkins, Project Manager at TRA.
IndustrySafe Safety Software Release 3.09 also allows for detailed reporting by section and location of Days Away Restricted/Transfer Rate (DART) and Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR). These rate calculations are important to clients utilizing the IndustrySafe Safety software for OSHA reporting and these modifications allow larger organizations to calculate DART and TCIR rates across organizational levels as well as across locational levels.
Other enhancements include updated safety inspection reports, updated observations report, and updates to the claims module that allows for easier integration with Third Party Administrators, Insurers, and Insurance Brokers.
