Innovative marketing firm PubDistrict Inc. is developing a revolutionary technology advance in the nightlife industry called “Club Streaming” launching as ClubDistrict.com. This system was developed to provide the event producers with an instant online audience not available in today’s industry. The new online portal will launch in 20 national markets in May 2009.

PubDistrict Inc., a leader in connecting corporate America with the young and affluent through nightlife and entertainment promotions, has announced it will unveil a new national online portal ClubDistrict.com in May 2009, promising to propel online promoting to new heights beyond what’s available from social network sites like MySpace.com resulting in access to a national influential urban and youthful online consumer.

The innovative idea started in December 2008, when Michael Munar, the co-founder of Hot Import Nights, a large national touring car show, and producer of D1 Grand Prix USA joined the company as the Vice President of Business Development. A month later, Michael McGinn, co-founder of World of Dance and Dance Tag TV, joined the team as Vice President of Technology. It is under this new leadership that PubDistrict developed its latest launch, which they anticipate will be the next online evolution of nightlife websites.

ClubDistrict.com will replace the popular Southern California site http://www.pubdistrict.com, with a more national and up-to-date website. The local success of Pubdistrict.com has been documented in national magazines such as 944 magazine and Skinnie Magazine.

In the last 8 years, the company has also managed to attract content partnerships with several industry giants such as Wantickets.com, Track Entertainment, Groovetickets.com, ClubZone.com and Freedom Communications who operates newspapers in more than 50 markets.

ClubDistrict.com will be its national successor, with 20 national markets launches slated for May alone.

The company plans to allow nightlife entrepreneurs such as club photographers, event producers, and competitors to utilize its nightlife platform to start their own nightlife marketing business and share the online traffic generated across its national network at no cost.

Hans Thurau, CEO and founder of PubDistrict Inc., said: “We are very excited about the new launch and our national expansion. In today’s economy we hope to make an impact for entertainment entrepreneurs out there.”

And within a few months of launching ClubDistrict.com, PubDistrict is releasing a unique nightlife content delivery system called “Club Streaming”. Club Streaming was developed to provide event promoters, DJs and bands an instant online audience, reducing their online promotional activities by 90%.

Thurau said: “In 2003, online phenomenon MySpace.com raised the technological bar for online promoting to great new heights. Six years later, we are once again raising the technological bar with the launch of ClubDistrict.com”.

Over the last decade, Pub District Inc. has provided online marketing services to more than 150 entertainment clients, such as MTV and the House of Blues owned by Live Nation. With deep roots in the nightlife scene and years of experience marketing to the nightlife industry, Pub District's newest development ClubDistrict.com will rapidly usher much needed technical improvements into the nightlife industry.
