Boulder, Colorado (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) April 17, 2009 -- iggli, Inc. announced today that Thomas Higley, founder of iggli inc., will join the list of presenters at this year's Ticket Summit Vegas 2009 conference. The biannual event brings together leaders within the ticketing community and fosters opportunities for the advancement of relationships valuable to professionals in the ticketing business. The conference will include a wide range of forums focusing on the various aspects of ticketing and entertainment.

"I am really excited about presenting new concepts in ticketing at the conference; particularly as these ideas relate to friend-to-friend communications. The advances that we've been working on at iggli will have a revolutionary effect on the way people think about selling and buying tickets in the future," said Thomas Higley, founder and CEO of iggli, Inc. "It will be a great opportunity to discuss what we have accomplished, and it is an ideal venue to learn from others. I'm looking forward to it."

iggli's invite service allows friends to communicate, plan, track participation and purchase tickets for any type of ticketed event. The online service, a non-consumer-facing brand, is integrated into artist, venue, promoter and primary and secondary ticket seller websites, and enables friend-to-friend communication to flourish.

Fans benefit from the service because it takes the hassle out of coordinating which friends will attend an event and allows individuals to pay separately. Furthermore, it eliminates the potential risk of the organizer not getting reimbursed if someone decides not to show up to the event. "The core aspect of our service is that it saves fans time and gives them a simple way to get together, using a variety of communication tools," said Higley.

Primary and secondary ticket sellers are excited by the new service because it is easily integrated into their existing web platforms and it has the potential to add incremental volume and exposure that sellers may not have experienced otherwise. "We add a viral, word-of-mouth feature to ticket sellers' current approach to online ticket sales," said Higley. "With roughly 40% of all tickets going unsold, our partners have quickly realized the value of the services we provide."

Higley is a serial entrepreneur who founded, co-founded, and led five technology startups during his career. His previous businesses include Service Metrics and StillSecure, which generated over $1 billion in value for investors. He has spoken at many industry and non-industry events, and serves as an advisor and coach to many Colorado-based start-up companies. He has a lifelong passion for business, music and technology. He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
