OutrageousAgents.com™ Offers New Way for Consumers to Review and Rate Realtors and Real Estate Agents

OutrageousAgents.com exits beta testing as a leading resource for real estate consumers to share their experiences, seek guidance, read reviews, and rate their realtors and real estate agents. OutrageousAgents.com is the only site where consumers can "out" their OutrageousAgents.™

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 17, 2009 -- Colton Creative LLC announces that OutrageousAgents.com is now live. With thousands of page views a month during beta testing, and critical praise in "Realtor Magazine," OutrageousAgents.com is rapidly becoming the leading resource for independent reviews and ratings of Realtors and real estate agents. The site also aggregates news related to buying and selling real estate.

"Realtors and real estate agents have, for too long, received a pass when it comes to their fees and ethics. Those days are now over," said founder Andrew Colton, a former ABC News Correspondent. "The mission of OutrageousAgents is to separate the outrageously good real estate agents from the outrageously bad."

Colton founded the site after several bad experiences with realtors and real estate agents, including one who distributed brochures for another property during an open house in his home. Colton also sat in disbelief as a Prudential real estate agent tore up a dollar bill in front of him, explaining why commissions aren't negotiable.

"As she tore the dollar bill in thirds," Colton recalls, "she explained that only one third went to her, as she had to pay for health care and office expenses. Most self-employed workers also have to pay for health care and office expenses, but don't tear up money to make the point."

OutrageousAgents.com lets consumers rate their Realtors and real estate agents and read reviews of others. An "Outrageously Good" and an "Outrageously Bad" agent are profiled on the home page.

"The time has come for a site like this," said Colton. "Just like travel agents experienced a major change in their industry, thanks to the Internet, it's time that realtors and real estate agents embrace change as well. Agents should be working on a fixed rate, transactional basis, not artifically hiking home values by adding their six percent commission to the price. OutageousAgents gives consumers a place to turn to share their experience, seek guidance, read reviews, and rate their agents in a time when this information has never been more important."
