New York State AEYC Connects Members to Experts, Insights and "Next" Practices

Empire State Early Childhood Organization Joins BAM Radio Network

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 18, 2009 -- Today, the BAM Radio Network (BRN), a joint project of Moving & Learning and Jackstreet Media Ventures, announced that the New York State Association for the Education of Young Children (NYSAEYC), is now offering NAEYC Radio as a new resource to the association's early childhood professionals, advocates and parents.

The program features a special edition of BRN's premier program, Body, Mind and Child (www.bodymindandchild.com), co-hosted by NAEYC executive director Mark Ginsberg, Ph.D. and Rae Pica, an early childhood expert with 30 years of experience in the field. The program is nanocasted on the NYSAEYC web site at http://www.nysaeyc.org.

"NAEYC Radio is an excellent resource for our members and the broader early childhood community. It connects them both with timely information from experts in the field and the important work of NAEYC, "said Kristen Kerr, Executive Director of NYSAEYC.

"It's wonderful to see this programming embraced by the NYSAEYC. We know that the segments will be an invaluable asset to the members of this association," said Rae Pica.

About NYSAEYC:
The New York State Association for the Education of Young Children (NYSAEYC), is the state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children ion (NAEYC). NYSAEYC is a separate, non-profit organization of educators and professionals dedicated to supporting the needs and rights of young children, their families, and early childhood educators.

About BAM Radio Network:
The BAM Radio Network was launched to address the severe imbalance in parenting practices caused by the "commercialization of parenting" and the emphasis on intellectual development that excludes the critical role of the mind/body connection in early childhood. Created by leading early childhood experts, the programming challenges the popular educational misconceptions and seeks to provide the most up to date insights from leading experts in the field of child development. The network is a joint venture between New Hampshire-based Moving & Learning and Los Angeles-based Jackstreet Media Ventures LLC. The program is produced by Emmy winning broadcaster Errol Smith and distributed through the Affiliate Nanocasting Network.
