Running for nearly two years, is a site that specializes in family sport games. Recently, the site premiered a new feature - a brand new blog.

We want to encourage productivity instead of negativity.

There's nothing better than being able to have fun with the family and engaging in some team sports. Unfortunately, the reality for many American families is that the home institution is being splintered by increased work hours and the saturation of media and technology. One parent is taking a stand and encouraging kids to get away from the TV sets through his site,

"Kids nowadays are couch potatoes and not being physically active and parents aren't discouraging them," said Jim Caprul.

Caprul is the founder of Youth N More Sports, which initially launched in September 2007.

"The site is providing a way to bring sports back to the children and get them away from the TV or, for city kids, gangs," he explained.

Specializing in several youth-driven sports and backyard games like badminton, archery, basketball and several others, has a comprehensive selection of games, which also includes indoor favorites like ping pong and table top air hockey.

"I liked the idea of having a website that brings different sports into children's lives and gives them an alternative from video games and TV," said Caprul. "We want to encourage productivity instead of negativity."

Caprul keeps an open line of communication and often looks to kids to find out how he can improve his site. "Are there other sports outside of baseball, basketball, football and soccer?" he asked. "If kids are interested in skateboarding, we'll add that. It's about building these bridges that will get kids outside and enjoying a life that's not confined within the home."

Another unique feature of Caprul's e-store is the new blog he started recently,

In the blog, Caprul supports family time and promotes people to break out their volleyball sets and spend their weekends having a friendly game or three.

"I have children myself and I think it's better that we're all physically active," he said.

There are very few stores that are built on the kind of heart that is built on, but then again, for Jim Caprul, it's not about the bottom dollar; it's about making sure that children can break free from the grips of a remote control and see that there's more adventure and fun on the other side of their front door.
