Denver, CO (PRWEB) April 19, 2009
VarVee a SaaS high school sports company recently launched its online application to media partners in the Denver Metro area. This tool allows visitors to the media website to view robust high school sports statistical information broken down by athletes, teams, and conferences. After a strong initial outing with basketball, spring Colorado sports are experiencing activity that should generate 500,000 page views a month.
"We are tremendously proud of our growth and the coaches' participation inputting scores and statistics. It speaks to how easy VarVee software is to use and what a great community of coaches we have here in Colorado." said Stephen Cunningham, Chief Executive Officer VarVee, LLC.
In its first season of general availability, the VarVee software was used for inputting over 1500 games in 5A Boys Basketball in Colorado. VarVee also sent over 21,000 basketball results via email to media, parents, players and fans all across Colorado and the country. After several initial sports seasons building and testing the product, VarVee has been able to gain strong coach participation across 20 sports. Coaches input team rosters, game scores, and statistics. VarVee distributes box scores to the primary media of the coaches' choice. This reduces workload and errors in the media while saving time for coaches.
VarVee Covers 20 Sports Celebrating All High School Athletes
From the original beta release with soccer and lacrosse to its official launch focused on Colorado boys and girls basketball in December, VarVee has expanded quickly to embrace 20 high school sports. "It's important to include all high school sports and not narrow our scope to just a few popular choices. The athletes in lacrosse or track & field are just as dedicated and work just as hard as those in basketball or football. We focus on reporting the results for everyone." Said Ray Dowdle, Chief Operations Officer VarVee, LLC.
