Executives at project-based professional service firms gathered online for The Executive Circle meeting to hear how they could find projects that are receiving economic stimulus funding. They were also interested in discovering strategies to survive the recession by hearing about project management solutions, what other businesses were implementing, as well as how to develop a positive company culture that contributes to growth.

Jewell & Associates, a Deltek Premier Partner, held The Executive Circle meeting virtually this month, featuring three dynamic speakers. With the economic challenges many companies are facing, the meeting was held virtually to give executives the opportunity to attend the meeting without having to leave the office. The Executive Circle is an exclusive group for project-based Professional Service firm leaders in architecture, engineering, management consulting, IT consulting, communications and government contracting interested in business and project management solutions and ideas.

Carolyn Parent, Executive VP, Sales from Deltek kicked-off the meeting with information to help Executives understand about the Economic Stimulus money and mentioned that Deltek has added a track about the Stimulus program at their Insight 2009 conference in Orlando next month. Ms. Parent shed some light as to how the money is being divided and presented ideas on how firms can find projects that have been awarded.

Debora McLaughlin, Professional Certified Executive Coach from Open Door Coaching discussed Unlocking Your Competitive Edge and Sustaining your Business in Today's Economy. Ms. McLaughlin provided ten strategies to engage your employees to develop a culture of success.

The third speaker was June Jewell, President of Jewell & Associates. Ms. Jewell talked about Innovative Ways our Clients are Surviving the Recession. She presented ideas for cutting costs, re-engineering processes, ideas for increasing revenue and marketing for your business during the recession.

The Executive Circle has been designed for networking, best practice discussions, executive level presentations from industry experts, as well as discovering project management solutions. The membership is made up of executives-level individuals at project-based professional services firms.
