Combined with our highly competitive pricing and the significant enhancements made earlier this year to our already robust RMIS package, risk managers can have the best and most complete information management tools available at a low cost of ownership.
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) April 20, 2009
OCI announced today the enhancement of its Certificates of Insurance (COI) module for its web-based risk management information system. The enhanced Certificate of Insurance module includes the addition of inbound certificate tracking and management and is fully integrated with OCI’s RMIS certificate issuance capability. This expanded product feature provides complete end-to-end certificate management and administration, mitigating the inherent risk in managing multiple, disconnected work groups where a lack of information can lead to significant exposures.
“The new inbound COI tracking and management function gives risk managers a powerful tool to aid their decision making and monitoring of supplier contract and insurance requirements compliance,” says Archie Anderson, President of OCI. “Combined with our highly competitive pricing and the significant enhancements made earlier this year to our already robust RMIS package, risk managers can have the best and most complete information management tools available at a low cost of ownership.”
The new Certificate Tracking function manages inbound certificate images as well as the meta-data elements related to the images. The new capability also includes:
- Online submission, storage & data entry
- Mismatch Dashboard for automatic validation to contract requirements
- Online document storage
- Automated pending renewal at multiple points in time to designated recipients
- AM Best rating insurer validation
The Certificate Issuance function is the administrative interface for issuing certificates to meet contract requirements. Included among its enhanced features is automated production of ACORD forms, electronic signatures and automatic distribution via e-mail.
