I think that this has been an evolutionary process for us. We have pushed the limits of what we can do with traditional web design and marketing. We have started to feel that our current offerings were becoming slightly one-dimensional. By taking a step back and analyzing where we, and our competitors could be doing a better job, I think we saw room for opportunity

Rocket 55, a Minneapolis Internet Marketing Firm, has announced that it has launched a multimedia division to support and enhance, it's web design and internet marketing services to current and prospective customers.

"I think that this has been an evolutionary process for us. We have pushed the limits of what we can do with traditional web design and marketing. We have started to feel that our current offerings were becoming slightly one-dimensional. By taking a step back and analyzing where we, and our competitors could be doing a better job, I think we saw room for opportunity," says Steven Ayres, President of Rocket 55.

Internet Marketing Specialist, Nathan Smith, adds "This is just where the business is heading. In our experiments with video supplemented web pages, we have enhanced our client's message and increased the likelihood of conversion. In fact, we have seen a reduction in bounce rate of around 5-7% on heavy volume sites."

This move has meant a substantial investment in new film production equipment and the company has hired on two new full time members. These new employees will be responsible for going out into the field and producing "informational" or "viral" videos.

"Their first task was to film a clever and short viral video for Rocket 55 itself. The result was a hilarious spoof on infomercials that can be seen on YouTube," says Smith. "You can check this video out on YouTube at Rocket 55 Video. Since sending this video out to our existing customers, we have had an almost overwhelming response from current customers. They all seem to want something 'non-ordinary' for their sites."

This expansion has also landed a nation-wide campaign for International Rarities. The DVD series will be entitled "What is Gold Worth" and will seek to educate first time gold investors.
