law firms deserve a better way to accomplish eBilling than simply using traditional enterprise software that produces LEDES formats. The eBillingHub, based on Software as a Service (SaaS), has demonstrated itself as the next generation of service.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 21, 2009
The eBillingHub, the market leader in simplifying electronic billing for law firms, today announced a strengthening of its relationships with two legal market leading spend and matter management solutions companies focused on enhancing the connectivity between their respective electronic billing products. The new program, from eBillingHub, called the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program, gives assurances to joint customers that a standards-based integration is supported and maintained through the cooperation and development of the respective vendors.
The automated bill submission capabilities of the eBillingHub, with seamless connectivity and automation capabilities to DataCert's ShareDoc® and Bridgeway's eCounsel, gives the law firm customer increased reliability of eBill submissions, improved coordinated customer service, and a open platform for future enhancements. While similar cooperation existed prior to this program, the TAP initiative formalizes the commitment by the companies.
"The eBillingHub TAP program formalizes what many law firms have wanted for years, and many industry organizations have attempted to achieve ---standards-based connectivity with commitment to support --- that helps law firms 'get the bills out'. We were the first vendor, and remain the only vendor, to give this functionality to law firms, and now we have taken the next step in formalizing our partnerships with the market leaders," said Greg Coticchia, CEO of the eBillingHub. Coticchia continues that "law firms deserve a better way to accomplish eBilling than simply using traditional enterprise software that produces LEDES formats. The eBillingHub, based on Software as a Service (SaaS), has demonstrated itself as the next generation of service."
"We are delighted to continue, our relationship with the eBillingHub. Participating in eBillingHub's TAP program enhances the customer experience, from the law firm through to the corporate legal departments," stated Keith Okano, President, Bridgeway Software.
"DataCert has always been on the forefront of providing better solutions for our customers. The TAP program from eBillingHub is another commitment to our law firm customers and the basis for even further collaboration capabilities beyond eBilling," said Kevin O'Connell, Senior Vice President of Law Firm Operations and Business Development, DataCert. "We have shared a technology vision with eBillingHub for several years, and furthering that and formalizing it with TAP just made sense."
The TAP program is the foundation for collaboration between law firms and corporate legal departments. Spend and Matter Management solutions providers such as DataCert and Bridgeway have committed to this program and its vision, working with the eBillingHub to help law firms speed up the collections process, reduce the complexity of electronic invoice submissions, eliminate billing backlogs and submission errors, and minimize or eliminate the need for additional staff to administer electronic billing. Using the eBillingHub also results in improved cash flow, increased profit per partner and enhanced client service.

eBillingHub delivers simplified electronic billing for law firms worldwide, making it possible for firms to eliminate costs and improve cash flow as they grow their electronic billing volume. The company's patent-pending technology, delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS), provides a comprehensive and collaborative approach for preparing, tracking, submitting and managing the electronic billing process. Unlike tools used by law firms to create LEDES invoice files, the eBillingHub simplifies the electronic billing process by integrating a law firm's time and billing software with multiple electronic billing vendors, which are often specified by a firm's clients.
