GES Exposition Services, Inc., a leader in exhibition and event services, announced that the Dallas Market Center (DMC), the world's most complete wholesale marketplace, has extended its contract with GES to be its official services contractor through 2014. The contract covers 15 shows each year, including GlobalTex: LA International Textile & Sourcing Fair™, a new show launched by DMC's parent-company, Market Center Management Company.
The inaugural GlobalTex show will be held April 28 - 30, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. GlobalTex will be the largest apparel fabrics and materials show in the United States and on par with international shows in Europe and Asia. Other DMC shows GES will produce include the Dallas Apparel & Accessories Markets, Dallas Total Home & Gift Markets with the FINDS Dallas Temp Shows, Dallas Fabric Shows, The Men's Show - Dallas Collective, and Goods To Go - Dallas Sample Sale.
