Spanglish Ideas Secures Mexican Soccer Star Cuauhtemoc Blanco for Seccion Amarilla 2009

Chicago based sports marketing and PR agency Spanglish Ideas is proud to announce the teaming of client, Sección Amarilla USA, and Mexican Soccer Star Cuauhtémoc Blanco of the Chicago Fire, as the image of their 2009 campaign.

Chicago based sports marketing and PR agency Spanglish Ideas is proud to announce the teaming of client, Sección Amarilla USA, and Mexican Soccer Star Cuauhtémoc Blanco of the Chicago Fire, as the image of their 2009 campaign.

Sección Amarilla's Marketing Department developed the creative concept and the billboards are set to be released this week featuring Blanco in character wearing various outfits such as: pizza delivery boy, businessman, doctor, mechanic, waiter and Charro. The purpose of transforming Blanco is to connect on a more personal level with users of the Spanish Yellow Pages Directories in the US.

Spanglish Ideas has carved a reputation in Sports Marketing: Its capabilities range from Sponsorship negotiation and activation, International level and grass roots sports production, athlete endorsements, and proprietary sports properties development such as the Soldier Field Developmental Cycling Series.

The OOH campaign will be executed in both English and Spanish and will be featured in billboards throughout the US. Additional campaign initiatives include DM, CRM, BTL and Sports Marketing at both professional and grass roots level throughout 2009.
