S4 Inc. recently added three communication executives to augment the company's consulting capability. Jonathan Thompson, Mark Pfeifle and Paul Morrell have combined their extensive experience in communications strategy, perception management and global influence programs, providing a powerful capability to help S4 clients.
"As we continue to build a best-of-breed professional services and consulting company, we strive to bring on professionals that are of the caliber of these three leaders," said Chandu Shah, president and CEO of S4 Inc. "Collectively and individually, Jonathan Thompson, Mark Pfeifle and Paul Morrell add substantially to our strategic consulting capability."
Prior to joining S4, Thompson was the director of external affairs for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency. He also served as deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at the U.S. Department of Defense, and in the Defense Reconstruction Support Office for Iraq and Afghanistan affairs. Thompson has held various strategic leadership positions within the U.S. government, including NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy, Los Alamos National Laboratory, the Transportation Security Administration and the White House.
Pfeifle previously served as deputy assistant to the president of the United States and deputy national security advisor for strategic communications and global outreach at the White House. He also held positions as the deputy communications director for the Republican National Committee, communications director for the 2004 Republican National Convention, and press secretary and communications director for Interior Secretary Gale Norton.
Morrell came to S4 from NASA where he served as chief of staff. Previously he was the director for communications planning at the National Security Council and deputy chief of staff for strategic planning at the U.S. Department of Energy. Morrell worked for 22 years at the U.S. House of Representatives where he held a number of senior management and communication positions for members of Congress, including House Majority Leader Dick Armey.
"S4 has the depth of knowledge, experience and resources to provide the critical services our clients need, both domestically and internationally," said Thompson, executive vice president of the Systems Media Group at S4 Inc. "Together, we have and will continue to use the convergence of technology and media to inform, influence and affect the views of critical audiences worldwide."
