Protecting your tattoo has just gotten easier with Tattoo Armor's new Precision Sunscreen Pen. The quick-dry sunscreen and fine-tipped applicator pen is the first product in a new line of specialty products offered by Tattoo Armor.

As a person who has tattoos, I was frustrated by the lack of products available to protect my artwork. That's why I am so excited about the launch of our first sunscreen specifically for tattoos. Our goal is to offer products that enhance and preserve tattoos and that are easy for people to use.

Exposure to the sun breaks down tattoo ink and causes fading, cracking, and image distortion. With even mild sun exposure tattoos can begin to look lighter and less vibrant. While traditional sunscreens protect skin from burning, they are not designed to protect ink. Sunscreens can also be messy and inaccurate leaving a halo of lighter skin around the tattoo.

To solve these issues, founder and developer, Triskin Harden, formed Tattoo Armor with partner Curtis Cheng. The mission of Tattoo Armor is to develop specialized products that protect and enhance the appearance of tattoos. After a year of development and testing, Tattoo Armor's first product, the Precision Sunscreen Pen, will begin distribution to select retailers this week.

The uniquely designed pen has a small brush tip that makes application easy and precise. Even if your tattoo has very fine lines, you can perfectly trace your ink and protect your tattoo without getting the "halo effect" where the skin around the tattoo looks even lighter. The slim pen is easy to carry in a purse or pocket. Plus, the quick drying formula makes application fast and convenient.

The Precision Sunscreen Pen from Tattoo Armor is specifically designed to protect and enhance the appearance of tattoos during sun exposure. The patented formula offers SPF 30 protection with both UVA and UVB blockers to ensure users can enjoy hours of sun exposure without risking damage to their tattoos while the active emollient actually enhances the appearance of the tattoo by creating a glossy appearance and conditioning the skin.

Founder Triskin Harden said, "As a person who has tattoos, I was frustrated by the lack of products available to protect my artwork.
