Chattanooga to Host National Handball Tournament This Weekend

The United States Handball Association's (USHA) National Masters Singles Invitational will be held at The SportsBarn in Chattanooga April 23-26, 2009. Over 100 players from all over the country will play in multiple divisions from Men 35+ to 75+.

The United States Handball Association's (USHA) National Masters Singles Invitational will be held at The SportsBarn in Chattanooga April 23-26, 2009.

Over 100 players from all over the country will play in multiple divisions from Men 35+ to 75+. There will be current and former national champions competing in the tournament. Some local players to watch include Rob Pearse and Scott Kelley.

Matches begin Thursday, April 23 at noon and tournament play ends Sunday morning. Draws and start times are available online at ushandball.org

The USHA, a 501©3 non-profit organization headquartered in Tucson, is the governing body for the sport of handball, dedicated to the growth and development of the sport at all age levels.

The USHA Hall of Fame, located at 2333 N. Tucson Blvd. since 1993, serves as the United States' shrine to the game of handball.
