InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Colfax, Calif., has designed a safety net for roofing installers. This invention is patented and a prototype available.
The "Roof Line Fall Protection System" would prevent workers, tools and building materials from falling off of a roof. The invention would help to promote safety at a job site. It would not impede a worker's movement, and could be used on a wide variety of structures. Designed for portability, the Roof Line Fall Protection System would be easily set up by one person.
The unit would consist of telescoping poles with an attached netting assembly, steel cable and straps with steel rings. The bottom of each pole features a foot pad to prevent slipping. To use, the individual would position the pads against the wall base and then adjusts the poles so that the assembly extends above the roof. The user would then nail the straps with steel rings to the roof to secure the Roof Line Fall Protection System in place. The cable would run between the poles to ensure that they do not spread apart once they are in place. The netting is reinforced with wire rope at its horizontal edges for added strength and support.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
