Selected as Graduate Circle Presenter to Demo Enterprise Social Networking-Style Platform That Turns Employees into Innovation Communities.

Spigit, the leader in idea and innovation management software for the enterprise, announced today that it has been selected to showcase its InnovationSpigit 2.0 platform for enterprise innovation management at 1:15 p.m. PT on Friday, April 24 at the Under the Radar™: Clarity in the Cloud startup competition set for the Microsoft campus in Mountain View, CA.

"We are thrilled to have this opportunity to showcase the power of InnovationSpigit to such an esteemed group of panelists," said Paul Pluschkell, CEO and founder of Spigit. "Especially in today's economy, companies are looking for a truly effective and efficient solution to optimize the ROI on their innovation efforts. By mashing up social media-style collaboration, and its inherent focus on the end user, with corporate-driven metrics and reporting features, InnovationSpigit enables employees to take an active role in the future of the company in a way that drives profitable innovation."

Spigit's selection as a Graduate Circle presenter at Under the Cloud places the company among a distinguished group of companies that will offer demonstrations of their product throughout the event.

In a one-day showcase of the most disruptive companies in the cloud computing sector, Under the Radar provides an opportunity for the true innovators fueling the explosion of cloud technology to pitch their product to a panel of active industry experts, along with an audience of early-adopter technology insiders. Both the audience and experts have a chance to ask questions and offer feedback on business models, market opportunities, areas for improvement, and how best to reach out and build up their audience.

Spigit representatives are afforded just 15 minutes on stage to present InnovationSpigit to a panel of judges, including CIOs and buyers of technology from telecommunications, healthcare, entertainment & media and finance companies, as well as VCs and press. The audience will cast votes and the winning startup will be announced at the end of the day.

In the past 3 years, presenters at Under the Radar have collectively raised $1.36 billion in funding. Nearly half have secured funding ($14 million on average per company) or been acquired, some by the likes of Google, Ebay, Microsoft and Cisco. Under the Radar alumni include Flikr, LinkedIn, PhotoBucket and Kaboodle.

"It's an honor to have been selected for inclusion in this venue, which has clearly been a leaping off point for so many successful companies," Pluschkell said. "Spigit has already proven its value in some of the most innovative companies in the world and we're excited to further explore potential opportunities for growth in the future."

Spigit's award-winning innovation solutions are already in use by several Fortune 200 companies and other well-known brands at the forefront of innovation, including IBM, Sun Microsystems, Intel, WebEx, Walmart, Sam's Club, Southwest Airlines and Choice Hotels International. The company was recently named to InformationWeek's Startup 50 list of the top business technology startups as selected by readers and editors.
