"This month, Macy's Termite & Pest Control Company will celebrate its 20th anniversary," announced Dean Burnside, President. "We are very thankful to all our customers who have supported us all these years."

In 2008, Macy's saw over 8% growth, even in this difficult economy. Company President, Dean Burnside attributes this to Macy's "Go Green" Strategy. As Burnside says, "Everyone is conscious of the environment these days, and what more important place to start than your own home?"

Macy's was founded in April of 1989 by John Macy, who, at the time, had fifteen years experience in the pest control industry. Burnside joined the team as a partner in January 1996, and helped grow one of the most successful locally owned pest management service companies on the west coast of Florida. With the retirement of John Macy in October of 1998, Burnside became the sole owner.

To commemorate the company's 20th birthday, Burnside recently announced that John Macy will be re-joining the Macy's team. "John is a good friend and we are pleased to have him back on the team. He will primarily be working with our Sales Team while building relationships in our community."

Macy's is locally owned and operated, employing 20 team members. They specialize in Organic Pest Control, which uses botanically based products and other materials that utilize naturally occurring elements to provide pest-free living. Their program Go Green Plus 3 applies only organic, botanical, and all natural products in targeted areas inside your home once a year to provide a pesticide-free living space. With this service, Macy's performs an extensive exterior service three times per year to insure against pest invaders from the outside. In addition to treating the foundation, soffits, and entry points, they have recently expanded their treatment to include landscape beds, tree bases, fire-ant mounds, and wasp nests. Macy's will always recommend non-chemical methods of pest control where possible.

"We are celebrating 20 years of excellence and take great pride in our work," Burnside adds, "We are excited about the future and look forward to being a leader in the industry by continuing to expand our Green technologies."

Macy's Termite & Pest Control was founded in April of 1989 and specializes in "Organic" pest control by using botanically based products and other naturally occurring elements which pose less health risks. They provide a full range of pest control services including household pests, rodents, fleas, ticks, termites, fire ants, bats, and much more.
