La Jolla-based Complete Pilates, specializing in the Performance Complete Pilates™ system, today announces an exclusive partnership with the women's premier soccer team San Diego SeaLions and a new series of Happy Hour Pilates classes specifically designed to help get you beach body ready by summer.

SeaLions Select Complete Pilates to Supplement On-the-Field Training
The San Diego SeaLions, part of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL), recently partnered with Complete Pilates to enhance their season training regimen. The team will attend Sullivan's weekly Boot Camp class, a 60-minute high intensity workout challenge, as well as regular Pilates classes that combine both new and traditional Pilates exercises with a focused cardio component. Armone customizes every workout specifically to help the SeaLions with flexibility and strength in a way they can't find with just field workouts.

By integrating Pilates into their training routine, the SeaLions aim to gain a competitive edge over their rivals and return to the WPSL championships for the first time since 2000. "Armone was a competitive cyclist and has a great reputation training professional athletes," said Paul Dougherty, head coach for the SeaLions. "She knows how to read each player and push her to truly reach her goals. We're looking forward to being a lean and mean force on the field."

The San Diego SeaLions 14 game season kicks off Saturday May 23 at Cathedral Catholic High School's Manchester Stadium in Del Mar.

Find a new kind of Happy at Happy Hour Pilates.
Studies show that not only will starting a new work out regime help you get in shape for the summer, but it will also improve your emotional outlook by boosting feel-good endorphins, releasing muscle tension and reducing levels of stress hormone cortisol - especially important for people in today's dim economy. In fact, exercise can often be as effective as antidepressants.

Get a head start on a better, fitter you and spend a HAPPY hour at the gym instead of the bar to maximize your fitness, increase your happiness and minimize stress. Happy Hour Pilates classes are offered Mondays - Thursdays.
