Abundant Life Academy, a private Christian school for troubled teens announces two new Directors. Ron and Debbie Tuit have been affiliated with Abundant Life Academy since October 2005. Ron Tuit, Admissions Director began as a Life Coach and Family Representative for the Academy in September 2006. Debbie Tuit, Director of Marketing recently joined the team and brings over 30 years of experience with her to the academy.
Ron Tuit is a pastor at a local church and has been employed at ALA since September 2006. He started as a Life Coach for the girls' academy and quickly moved over to the boys' academy as Family Representative, where he worked with the students and their parents on restoring their family relationship. When Craig Rogers, CEO, determined there was a need for an Admissions Director on site, he immediately considered Ron for the position, based on Ron's fastidious organizational skills. "Ron is detail-oriented and his compassion for the struggling parents is unbelievable. He is able to relate to their hardship and gently walks them through the admission process." Though the process can be very time consuming, Ron truly believes that he is making a difference here, one family at a time.
Debbie recently joined the team at ALA as the Marketing Director. She brings with her over 30 years of corporate/business knowledge in customer service, customer relations, human resources and product/service profiling. She has a BA in English Literature and Marketing from Montclair State University. Since being saved by the Lord, her passion has always been with teens. She has been a part of youth group leadership for over 15 years but since moving to Kanab, she has been unable to get a youth group started. She believes this is the Lord's new path for her. She is helping to set up different avenues to reach out to the families with troubled teens and to make them a part of the marketing team at ALA.
Abundant Life Academy was founded in December 2000 by Craig Rogers as an alternative option for teens that are looking for their place in the world. The school is aimed to fulfill the lack of Christian leadership not found in most emotional growth and traditional boarding schools.
