Usher to Partner With UN Foundation and Nothing but Nets to Engage Youth in Service to Combat Malaria

Working through his New Look Foundation, Raymond and the UN Foundation will provide opportunities for underprivileged youth to take action through service and make a difference with global issues.
Usher Raymond teams up with the UN Foundation's Nothing But Nets campaign and Ron Clark Academy students in Washington, DC to raise awareness about World Malaria Day this Saturday.

This Saturday is World Malaria Day. The United Nations has called for an end to malaria related deaths. Nothing But Nets is a global, grassroots campaign to save lives by preventing malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa. Inspired by sports columnist Rick Reilly, tens of thousands of people have joined the campaign that was created by the United Nations Foundation in May 2006. Founding campaign partners include the National Basketball Association's NBA Cares, the people of The United Methodist Church and Sports Illustrated.
