Hamman Marketing Chosen To Promote '100% Tunisian' Olive Oil In US Market

Hamman Marketing Associates (HMA), an international marketing consultancy, has been awarded a contract from the Tunisian Ministry of Industry to serve as marketing consultant to build awareness and trust in '100% Tunisian' olive oil in the US market.

Al Hamman recently traveled to Tunisia to meet with Ministry of Industry leaders and olive oil producers to discuss the opportunities available in the US market for a premium olive oil. The campaign theme '100% Tunisian' provides a platform upon which multiple Tunisian olive oil producers can enter and promote their products in the US market, offering a point of distinction among the myriad blended olive oils currently on the market.

"Tunisian extra virgin olive oil is revered for its delicate and fruity taste," says Al Hamman, owner of HMA. "It's often an ingredient blended other countries' olive oils, because of its light, smooth and fruity taste. Our mission is to tell the US market about the health and taste benefits of using '100% Tunisian' extra virgin olive oil."

This strategy offers a 3-way marketing initiative. The Tunisian government, individual companies, and HMA will all have a major role to play in branding '100% Tunisian' olive oil to the US market. The goal is to educate US buyers--brokers, distributors, retailers, and consumers--about Tunisia and the many advantages to pure, unblended olive oil that is provided by the sun, soil and mild growing season found in Tunisia.

Hamman Marketing Associates has built a strong relationship with the Tunisian business community--especially relating to food service products--and recently unveiled "The Taste of Tunisia" program introducing five Tunisian agribusiness companies at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco in partnership with the Tunisian American Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and FAMEX.
