San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 27, 2009
Seidel Advertising & Marketing (Seidel) announced today that they have signed three new accounts in only two weeks. Starting this month, the company will work with Rickshaw Bagworks (new line of urban bags), Green Bike Share (focused on college communities) and Referral Driving School (a school with a 15-year track record).
Rickshaw Bagworks enlisted Seidel to help re-design their website, create collateral materials and better communicate their overall brand philosophy to customers. Rickshaw has developed a line of exceptional messenger bags, baby bags, backpacks and accessories. Mark Dwight, the company's founder, is committed to creating innovative bags with customized features. The company is devoted to environmentally smart and efficient methods of production. For instance, Rickshaw's ZERO messenger bag is made from scratch in their SF factory and creates zero environmental waste.
Rickshaw chose Seidel because they both share the same philosophies when it comes to doing good in all aspects of life and business and because of their strategic yet creative solutions.
As Mr. Dwight said, "Our company is founded upon the idea of passion, craft and attention to detail. We worked with Howard Seth Seidel, principal of Seidel Advertising & Marketing, in the past and wanted to tap into his experience, combined with the youthful vitality of his agency."
Mr. Seidel commented, "We are incredibly excited to work with a company like Rickshaw. The challenges are to communicate consistently the vision Mark has ingrained in his company."
Seidel will be working on gathering all of Rickshaw's online materials from various web resources and incorporating them into a comprehensive website. Additionally, Seidel will work on various print and email promotional pieces.
Rickshaw Bagworks has its roots in the local biking community, so it was no surprise that the Seidel team began working with Green Bike Share (GBS), a program operating on the Cal Berkeley Campus since the spring of 2008.
GBS provides students with a more affordable and environmentally sustainable solution to transportation. As a start-up, a strong brand foundation is essential. Importantly, Seidel will be aiding GBS with their overall brand strategy before they expand beyond the Cal Berkeley Campus. Not only will Seidel work with GBS on the basic brand elements, a new logo design and tagline, but establishing a strong fundamental base for their community. GBS is doing its part in helping make the city of Berkeley more environmentally friendly but they have hopes that other universities and cities can adopt their same philosophy. Justin Wiley, co-founder of GBS chose Seidel because of their shared business ideas.
Mr. Wiley noted, "Seidel is an advertising firm that aligns with our philosophy and mission. They are the right choice for the goals that we are trying to accomplish."
Seidel has over 14 years experience working with the outdoor and cycling industry - from Lombardi Sports, to Sidi Shoes to Look Bike Frames to Vredestein Tires and Any Mountain retail stores to a few.
Rounding out Seidel's new clients is Referral Driving School (RDS), which follows the same altruistic principles as Rickshaw Bagworks and GBS. RDS, a Sacramento based driving school is looking to increase the enrollment of their online driver's education course. Although they want to increase their enrollment, they are also committed to putting safe new drivers on the road by giving them the best training possible. Similarly, Seidel is working on a unique strategy to create a remote site separate from RDS's main site to increase their client base. Seidel narrowed down and identified RDS's specific target market of 15-year olds in order to create a remote site that will draw this target market onto RDS's main site.
"We are very excited to start working with these three amazing clients", addressed Mr. Seidel. "They all share some of the same philosophies we have committed to over our 14 year history. Basically that even in these economically, actually especially in these difficult economic times, a company doesn't have to trade its ethics or commitment to the community in order to succeed economically. Smart advertising can and should do both. Doing good. Advertising."
